Job summary

Two Coast Living in Alexandria, VA is seeking a Make-Ready Technician to prepare vacant apartments for new residents. You will perform maintenance, cosmetic upgrades, painting, fixture replacement, HVAC changes, flooring touch-ups, and cleaning to official standards.

You will work with the Maintenance team, need 1 year of make-ready experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional on-call.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or make-ready/turnover work.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment turnover (make-ready) work: painting, repairs, fixture replacement, appliance testing, HVAC filter changes, flooring touch-ups, cleaning.
• Ensure apartments meet company quality and safety standards prior to move-in.
• Support the maintenance team with ongoing repairs, preventive maintenance, and property upkeep.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment following safety standards.
• Interact professionally with residents and team members throughout the community.
