Job summary

Two Coast Living is seeking a Make-Ready Technician to prepare vacant apartments at Manchester Lakes in Alexandria, VA. You will perform maintenance, repairs, and cosmetic improvements to ensure move-in readiness and a strong first impression for residents.

Work closely with the maintenance and property management teams, maintain safety and quality standards, and help with general upkeep across the property. High school diploma or GED and 1 year of related experience required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or make-ready/turnover work
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment turnover (make-ready) work, including painting, surface repairs, fixture replacement, appliance testing, HVAC filter changes, flooring and carpet touch-ups, and general cleaning
• Ensure apartments meet company quality and safety standards prior to move-in
• Support the maintenance team with ongoing repairs, preventative maintenance, and property upkeep as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company and industry safety standards
• Interact professionally and courteously with residents and team members while working throughout the community
