Job summary

Stonemark in Trail, OR is seeking a Make Ready Technician to prepare vacant apartments for market readiness and to complete assigned service requests in a timely manner. The role requires basic maintenance skills and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with duties including painting, lighting, grounds care, and routine inspections.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Service Supervisor on repairs, assisting with projects, and performing preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• One-year related experience at an apartment community or equivalent
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• General property maintenance skills including painting, pressure washing, trash pick-up
• Excellent customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Prepares vacant apartments for market-ready condition by performing various non-technical functions such as maintaining exterior lighting, ground equipment repair and preventative maintenance, caulking, painting, pool maintenance, lock repairs, etc.
• Inspects vacant apartments and informs the Service Supervisor of needed repairs and services
• Assists Service Supervisor in completing projects and completes preventive maintenance checklist
• Completes service requests in a timely manner and shares on-call responsibility when assigned
• Responsible for daily pick up of residential grounds and cleaning amenities when needed
• Responsible for interior painting of buildings and amenities

• Inspects vacant apartments and inform the Service Supervisor of needed repairs and services.
• Assists Service Supervisor in completing projects and completes preventive maintenance checklist.

Approves

• Routine maintenance and repairs.
• Replacement of minor parts.

Develops or Review and Submits to Service Supervisor for Review and Approval:

• Replacement of major equipment.
• Ideas for improving service and performance.

Requirements

Education Training and Experience:

One-year related experience at an apartment community and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Abilities And Aptitudes

Must be results orientated and self-starter. Organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. Must be mechanically inclined with knowledge of plumbing, heating, air conditioning, constructional and electrical procedures. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, and fee; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.

Specific Skills

General property maintenance skills required (painting, pressure washing, trash pick-up, etc.) Excellent customer service skills. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Salary Description

$19 - $22 / Hour
