Job summary

West Shore is seeking a Make Ready Technician in New York to prep vacant apartments, fix issues, and keep hallways and common areas inviting. You’ll perform general maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and appliance repair.

This on-site, hands-on role requires 1–5 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. EPA and CPO certifications are preferred and you’ll join a supportive team with ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years hands-on maintenance experience across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry.
• Proficiency in at least one major trade area and ability to work independently.
• EPA and/or CPO certifications preferred.

• Pitch in with special projects, pool upkeep, and seasonal tasks

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.)
• Proficiency in at least one major trade area
• EPA certification preferred
• CPO certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all conditions

• Available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and on-call shifts
