Job summary

EPC Real Estate Group in Olathe, KS is seeking a Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair apartment systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances, and to complete unit turns with quality finishes.

You will handle work orders, preventative maintenance, parts, and clear resident communications, rotate on-call, follow safety standards, and collaborate with the office to prioritize tickets.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years property maintenance experience (multifamily preferred).
• Ability to follow directions and complete tasks on schedule.
• Fair Housing awareness and safety mindset.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC (as certified), plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Complete work orders within service-level timelines; document parts, labor, and resolution.
• Perform unit turns including paint, patch, caulk, hardware, and minor carpentry.
• Execute preventative maintenance schedules and inspections.
• Support emergency response and on-call rotation.
• Maintain shop inventory, tools, and a safe work environment. Ensure code and safety compliance; report hazards immediately.
• Assist with grounds, swimming pool, snow/ice as applicable.

You rotate on-call, follow safety standards to the letter, and partner with the office to prioritize tickets.

• Work outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions.
