Job summary

Morgan Properties is hiring Make-Ready Technicians in Beltsville, Maryland. The role focuses on preparing vacant apartments for market readiness through non-technical tasks and coordinated maintenance support.

Typical duties include caulking, drywall repair, painting touch-ups, lock testing, and assisting in property inspections. Benefits include health coverage, retirement plan, and PTO; schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with on-call participation.

Qualifications

• Active and valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
• Live within a 30-minute commute of the property.
• HVAC/EPA/CFC Certification preferred.
• One-year related experience, or equivalent education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Caulking and drywall repair.
• Touch up painting and test all locks and key sets.
• Assist in inspection of property and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain exterior lighting and grounds.
• Groundskeeping and common areas maintenance including snow removal.
• Assist Maintenance Techs, Porter and Housekeeper as needed.
• Pool maintenance and on-call emergency readiness.
