Job summary

Kibo Property Management is seeking an experienced Painter to join the maintenance team at The Standard White House. This role focuses on interior and exterior painting, coordinating tasks with the make-ready schedule, and maintaining supplies and equipment.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of professional painting experience, knowledge of paints and safety practices, and the ability to work independently with reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• At least one year of professional painting experience.
• Knowledge of painting materials, tools, surface prep, and safety practices.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions and safety information.
• Ability to manage time, work independently, and meet quality and scheduling expectations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and paint interior spaces in vacant units, common areas, and designated locations.
• Prepare surfaces through cleaning, patching, sanding, scraping, priming, and taping.
• Coordinate painting with the make-ready schedule to meet timelines.
• Protect floors, fixtures, appliances, and surfaces from damage.
• Maintain painting tools, equipment, and supplies in good condition.
• Handle, store, label, and dispose of paints and related materials safely.
• Follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
• Assist with light maintenance and cleaning tasks as needed.
• Communicate work status and supply needs to supervisors.
