Job summary

Foundation Communities in Austin, TX is seeking a Maintenance Assistant - Cardinal Point to ensure vacated apartments are restored to market-ready status and to support the maintenance team. The role also involves on-call duties and may require work at other Foundation Communities properties in the Austin area.

The primary duties include inventory management, assisting the Lead Maintenance, and delivering excellent service to residents.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of practical maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor parts, supplies and equipment inventory.
• Provide support to all other maintenance staff
• Participate in quarterly property inspections
• Remove trash from outside each shift
• Assist Lead Maintenance, as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to all residents
• May be required to work at other Foundation Communities properties in the Austin area as needed
• Required to be on call
• All other duties as assigned
• Make-ready experience helpful with good understanding of pools, plumbing, electrical, etc.
