Job summary

Westdale Asset Management is seeking a Service Technician I for a 309-unit apartment community in Greenway Plaza, Houston. Responsibilities include turning vacant units, upkeep of grounds, and assisting with common areas.

The role offers a competitive salary with monthly renewal bonuses, and advantages such as medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and a 401(k) with company match. On-site work with a 9:00 am – 6:00 pm schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of previous maintenance experience on an apartment community.
• Must meet all physical requirements and be able to take direction.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call on a rotating basis for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Performing minor repairs and maintenance.
• Completing a duties checklist to ensure vacant apartments are move-in ready.
• Walking the property grounds and common areas as well as picking up trash and debris.
• Performing any additional duties assigned by both the Community Manager and/or Service Supervisor.

Rate: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position)

Monthly renewal bonuses are paid in addition to base pay.

As Service Technician I, you will turn vacant units into beautiful apartments, preparing them for new residents to call home. Work Days: Monday – Friday
Work Hours: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm; Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call on a rotating basis for emergencies.
Required License or Certification: Valid Texas Driver’s License.
