Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services in Oregon is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to deliver functional rehabilitation in clients' homes, schools, workplaces, and communities. You will design plans to help clients gain independence and engage in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification as required by state.
• Minimum of 1 year of PT experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for neurological injury.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; may lift up to 100 pounds with safety procedures.
• Duties may require standing for extended periods and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences
• Perform discharge evaluations, make recommendations for home and community safety, and provide resources
• Communicate patient's needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family
• Collaborates with other disciplines to ensure coordination of care and outcomes
