Job summary

KUOW Puget Sound Public Radio in Seattle is seeking a Philanthropy Officer to manage a portfolio of 150+ major donors and prospects, focusing on cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding gifts to support KUOW’s mission.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Development, you will lead front line fundraising, donor engagement, and collaboration across teams, with occasional telework and hybrid options. A bachelor’s degree and at least four years in fundraising are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in fundraising, non-profit, or related field.
• 4+ years in fundraising or related field.
• Proven success in cultivating donor relationships and securing major gifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio of 150+ major donors and prospects.
• Develop strategies to advance donors through the gift cycle.
• Collaborate with Philanthropy colleagues to solicit and steward major gifts.
• Plan and execute donor events and prepare proposals.
