Job summary

The University of Alabama at Birmingham seeks a Development Coordinator to join the School of Nursing’s development and alumni relations office. The role involves supporting major gift initiatives, CRM input/management, calendar and travel arrangements, reimbursements, and other duties as assigned.

Strong project management, analytic and organizational skills are essential. This full-time, on-site position reports to the Senior Director of Development II within the School of Nursing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 1–2 years of fundraising experience is preferred.
• Occasional evenings and weekends may be required up to three times a year.

Responsibilities

• Perform CRM input and management, calendaring, scheduling travel, and reimbursements.
• Support Development efforts for assigned areas in securing major gifts.
• Collaborate with Development Officers and University personnel as part of a team.
