Job summary

Her PLAN, a project of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America Education Fund, seeks a mission-driven Director of Development in Arlington, VA to cultivate major donors and expand the donor pipeline for organizations serving pregnant and parenting women.

This full-time in-office role builds donor relationships, partners with leadership, and crafts compelling fundraising messages to advance the pro-life mission, with travel to donor meetings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of fundraising, major gifts, or donor-relationship experience.
• Demonstrated success cultivating relationships and securing gifts.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with donors and leaders.
• Ability to translate mission into compelling donor materials and cases for support.
• Willingness to travel for donor meetings and events.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a portfolio of major-donor prospects and gifts.
• Partner with the Executive Director to manage key donor relationships and materials.
• Tell Her PLAN’s story through donor communications and impact case for support.
• Grow the donor pipeline and plan intimate cultivation events and dinners.
