Job summary

One Place in Jacksonville, NC seeks a Major Gift Manager who excels at relationship-building and data-driven fundraising. You will manage a portfolio of donors capable of giving up to $50,000 and create tailored cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans.

You’ll work with the CAO, CEO, and Board to grow philanthropic revenue, ensure accurate donor data in the CRM, and generate impactful reports that advance the mission to protect and support children and families.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in major gifts fundraising or related relationship-based sales
• Proven success soliciting and closing gifts in the $10,000–$50,000 range
• Hands-on experience with a donor management CRM including data entry and reporting
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication; compelling storytelling

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of major gift donors up to $50,000
• Develop cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans for donors
• Conduct regular face-to-face, phone, and virtual donor visits
• Draft compelling gift proposals and stewardship communications
• Generate reports on major gift pipeline activity and portfolio performance
