Job summary

IAT Insurance Group is seeking a Major Case Unit Director to oversee highly complex commercial liability claims across the U.S. The role directs independent investigators, defense counsel, and experts, sets reserves, negotiates settlements, and coordinates with underwriting partners.

Candidates should have at least 12 years of claims handling experience, GL/auto exposure expertise, and active licensure. Hybrid work schedule with travel ~4 days a month and potential remote options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with extensive claims experience.
• Minimum 12 years in claims handling in insurance.
• GL/Commercial auto exposure knowledge and litigation experience.

Responsibilities

• Handles highly complex exposure claims per guidelines.
