Job summary

Tao Group Hospitality is seeking a Maître'D to check in and manage seating for both reservations and walk-ins, maximizing seating per shift. You will interact with guests and staff in a polite, proactive manner and oversee the reservation book to optimize dining flow.

Essentially, you will anticipate guest needs, maintain entrance area cleanliness, and execute opening/closing procedures with attention to detail. Prior experience in fast-paced venues is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Maitre'D experience or equivalent Tao Group Hospitality experience.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge.
• Ability to write, read, and verbally communicate.

Responsibilities

• Anticipates and accommodates all needs of the guest.
• Manages reservation book and accepts walk‑in guests to maximize seating.
• Acknowledges and interacts with restaurant guests, fellow team members, and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner.
• Strategically plots reservations and accommodates walk‑ins for a smooth shift.
