Butcher & Bee is a seasonally driven, locally owned restaurant in East Nashville known for celebrating vegetables, grains, and meats from nearby farms. Our team creates food that’s thoughtful yet approachable, and hospitality is at the heart of everything we do.

We’re looking for a Maitre D’ to join our leadership team; someone who thrives on guest connection, communicates with calm authority, and knows how to run a door with grace and precision.

Responsibilities:

• Lead host operations during service, ensuring smooth flow from arrival to table

• Serve as the point person for nightly service, collaborating with FOH and BOH to maintain pace and standards

• Manage Resy and walk-ins with strategy and warmth, optimizing table turns while enhancing guest experience

• Greet, seat, and assist guests with a sense of genuine hospitality and confidence

• Support hosts and servers as needed: clear and reset tables, run food, check in with tables

• Close the restaurant several nights per week, ensuring proper wrap-up and communication

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of host or FOH leadership experience in a fast-paced, chef-driven restaurant

• Strong communication skills and a calm, guest-first mindset

• Working knowledge of Resy or similar reservation platforms

• Team-oriented with the ability to lead by example

• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends

• A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
