MAINTENANCE WORKER I

Hours: 40 hrs/week
This position performs a variety of semi-skilled manual tasks under direct supervision of a foreman, lead worker, or other higher-level classified employees. Duties may involve the use of hand and power tools and the operation of light truck and construction equipment as a part of the assignment. Duties may be performed under adverse weather or working conditions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/ADA: This job requires walking, standing, pushing, bending, stooping, equipment operation and driving. Working in or with moving vehicles and/or equipment may be required as well as working from heights, in dusty condition, with hands, feet, and/or legs in water and may handle chemicals.
