Job summary

Grandview School District is seeking a Maintenance/Custodial role to maintain facilities for students, staff and the public in safe operating condition. The position includes supporting a preventive maintenance program and performing skilled maintenance across plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling, carpentry, painting and welding.

The role offers a competitive hourly wage and full benefits, with 5 workdays per week (260 days/year). Closing date is 11/06/2026.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Pre-employment physical required
• Valid drivers license required

• Salary: $32.33- $34.88per hour(depending on experience)

Work Environment

The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 5% sitting, 50% walking, and 45% standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and under conditions with some exposure to risk of injury and/or illness.
