Job summary

Tri-County Human Services in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for repairs to agency buildings and equipment, and for upkeep of grounds. You will ensure safe, clean, and functional facilities to support our services.

This role requires at least two years of full-time maintenance experience; a high school diploma or GED is preferred. A valid driver qualification is required to transport individuals served by the agency and to support on-site operations.

Qualifications

• At least two (2) years of full-time experience in the repair and maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Makes repairs to buildings and equipment as requested.
• Provides upkeep of agency grounds including mowing, trimming, weeding, and yard trash disposal as directed.
• May perform housekeeping duties as directed.
• Performs other reasonable and related duties as assigned.
• Required to meet and maintain TCHS Approved Driver Qualifications per policy number 100.007.52 and transport TCHS person served in any agency vehicle.
