Job summary

Tri-County Human Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated maintenance worker in Lakeland, FL to care for agency buildings, equipment, and grounds. You will perform repairs, grounds upkeep, and preventive maintenance as part of a team dedicated to a safe, well‑maintained campus.

This full-time role requires at least two years of hands-on repair experience. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and a valid driver qualification may be required to transport clients or staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time experience in repair and maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Must meet TCHS driver qualifications per policy 100.007.52 and may transport TCHS persons served in agency vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Makes repairs to buildings and equipment as requested.
• Provides upkeep of agency grounds including mowing, trimming, weeding, and yard trash disposal as directed.
• Performs preventative maintenance duties as assigned.
• May perform housekeeping duties as directed.
• Performs other reasonable and related duties as assigned.
