Job summary

Express Employment Professionals of Albany, NY is seeking a dependable Janitor/Maintenance Worker for a local student facility. The ideal candidate has steady cleaning or maintenance experience, takes pride in detail, and can follow schedules.

Pay is $20.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and occasional evenings and weekends. Duties include sweeping, mopping, restroom upkeep, light repairs, and maintenance tasks to keep common areas safe and presentable.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum common areas, hallways, and stairwells.
• Clean restrooms and locker rooms, including restocking supplies.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Dust furniture and fixtures.
• Move furniture as needed.
• Clean windows and mirrors.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, and unclogging drains.
