Job summary

Hanker Systems is seeking a skilled maintenance technician in Beverly Hills, CA. The role focuses on building maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, furniture and wall finishes, and coordinating external contractors as needed.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of journeyman experience in plumbing or electrical, and a high school diploma or GED; an associate or trade school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of journeyman-level experience in plumbing or electrical work.
• Experience in building maintenance and general facility upkeep.
• Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides building maintenance and repair to include HVAC system monitoring and repair, plumbing maintenance and drain repair, electrical and lighting system repair, furniture and office equipment repair, wall cover repair to include painting and texturing, etc.
• Coordinates and schedules contractors' services when scope of work requires outside services.
• Performs necessary project coordination and supervision when tenant improvement projects are undertaken.
• Assists in the disposition and control of inventories allocated to warehouse storage.
• Provides minor janitorial support as necessary for the sanitary delivery of clinical services.
• Coordinates room set-up and preparation for meetings and other events.
• Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.
