Job summary

At Tlingit Haida Tribal Business Corporation (THTBC), we manage mission-critical work control operations for federal clients. The Work Control Manager leads intake, prioritization, and closeout of service orders, PM tasks, and subcontracts to ensure timely execution.

The role requires experience with NAVFAC Maximo, strong coordination with internal teams and government representatives, and the ability to manage schedules and reports.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of relevant experience in production control or maintenance coordination, including specialized work in government contracting.
• Experience interfacing with technical/facilities maintenance issues and knowledge of preventive maintenance models is desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with work order systems such as Maximo preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and be able to access government worksite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full scope of work control operations, including intake, prioritization, assignment, and closeout of service orders, estimates, subcontracts, and job orders.
• Serve as primary point of contact for internal teams and government representatives regarding work order status and customer needs.
• Manage day-to-day work control operations for facilities maintenance using NAVFAC Maximo and contractor Maximo systems.
• Develop and maintain maintenance schedules and preventive maintenance plans in Maximo.
• Coordinate with facilities management, engineering, and operations to resolve scheduling conflicts and priorities.
• Monitor work order status, backlog, and performance metrics, and provide reports to leadership and the customer.
