Job summary

Targa Resources is seeking a Planner/Scheduler to coordinate maintenance planning and scheduling across multiple teams. You will maintain the Maximo system, develop job plans, and manage weekly and daily work orders to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include PM scheduling, parts coordination with warehouse, maintaining equipment files, generating weekly compliance reports, and ensuring proper approvals and documentation for all planned work orders.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 3 years’ experience operating and maintaining mechanical equipment and processes.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Interpersonal communication skills required to interface with teams, personnel and vendors.
• Strong work ethic with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Software.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays; ability to respond to call outs and work shifts.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in changing climate conditions and tight spaces.
• Adherence to PPE guidelines and regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Maximo and set up equipment and preventive maintenance.
• Distribute weekly planned work orders and monitor open work orders.
• Enter downtime/maintenance activities in Maximo and close work orders.
• Maintain PM schedule and coordinate PMs with Supervisors.
• Coordinate PMs with other maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Maintain equipment files and inventory levels; manage parts with warehouse.
• Prepare weekly schedule and daily schedules for maintenance supervision.
• Review and approve work orders; ensure proper documentation and charges.
• Coordinate with central shops/project schedules and prepare compliance reports.
• Identify recurring maintenance problems and track KPI for department.
