Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to improve systems and equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and support the operation of assigned processes. The role reports to the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor and involves working rotating shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities include performing preventive and corrective maintenance, following safety and SOPs, and developing maintenance plans with spare parts lists.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent training (military/industry) required.
• 1-5 years of relevant work experience in maintenance or process equipment.
• Experience with SAP or computerized maintenance systems preferred.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams and other technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties.
• Follow SOPs in the performance of assigned duties.
• Develop and establish maintenance procedures, maintenance plans and spare parts lists for assigned processes.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on assigned processes in a timely manner.
• Interpret mechanical and electrical specifications, drawings and data sheets.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are documented in SAP.
• Collaborate with process owners to improve performance and reliability of equipment.
