Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the physical condition of the community and provide world-class service to our residents in Box Elder, SD. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure timely completion of resident service requests.

You will follow safety policies, contribute to a well-maintained living environment, and grow within the Maintenance Technician framework.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of basic tools and general maintenance processes.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.
• Valid, state-issued driver’s license with a safe driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Learn and provide maintenance support for general maintenance and orderliness of property HVA, mechanical, electrical, utilities and lighting systems. Including inspections and repairs.
• Ensuring the successful execution of all company safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Delivering the highest level of resident satisfaction through responsive, consistent, positive and professional interactions.
• Working a rotating on call schedule to have 24/7 maintenance coverage
