Job summary

Watts is seeking a Maintenance & Toolroom Coordinator to provide clerical support to the Maintenance and Toolroom Department. You will manage CMMS data, inventories, and parts procurement, coordinating external services while ensuring accurate records and strong cross-department communication.

The role is on-site at our Franklin, NH facility, reporting to the Facilities and Maintenance Manager. We value organized, detail-oriented professionals who excel in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of administrative, clerical, or support experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas, spreadsheet management).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Familiarity with maintenance operations, repair processes, and inventory management is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to Maintenance and Toolroom Departments.

  • Procure replacement parts, spare parts, and maintenance-related supplies.
  • Manage maintenance, spare parts, and toolroom inventories.
  • Support CMMS implementation, administration, and data accuracy.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to track, analyze, and report inventory and maintenance-related data.
  • Create and maintain purchase orders, inventory records, and documentation.
  • Facilitate communication between Maintenance, Production, Purchasing, and other departments.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical maintenance records.
  • Assist with reporting, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform general administrative duties including filing, scanning, and data entry.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

Scope of Position

The Maintenance & Toolroom Coordinator provides clerical and administrative support to the Maintenance and Toolroom Department. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate CMMS data, managing spare part and tooling inventory, ordering replacement parts, and coordinating outside services. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with systems and data in a fast-paced environment.

This position reports to the Facilities and Maintenance Manager, is onsite and is based in Franklin, NH.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Maintenance and Toolroom Departments.

  • Coordinate external service providers and contractors.

  • Procure replacement parts, spare parts, and maintenance-related supplies.

  • Manage maintenance, spare parts, and toolroom inventories.

  • Support CMMS implementation, administration, and data accuracy.

  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

Required Qualifications

Working Conditions

While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site at a manufacturing facility and will perform the majority of your duties in an office environment. You may, at times, be required to be present on the manufacturing floor and will be required to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment. You will be required to work in the office at the Franklin, NH location (Monday – Friday). Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.

  • Ability to remain seated at a desk or workstation for extended periods.

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks like typing on a keyboard or using a mouse for extended periods.

  • Ability to physically move around the office, organize or transport files, packages, or other office-related materials.

  • Ability to communicate clearly with management and coworkers, particularly in meetings or phone calls.

  • Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, phones, and copiers.

  • Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers.

  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
