Job summary

Watts Water Technologies in Franklin, NH is seeking a reliable assembly technician to assemble and test valves and components on the second shift. You will follow work instructions, operate assembly equipment, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

You'll complete production records, maintain a clean, organized workspace, and collaborate with the production team. The role requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

  • Follow prescribed assembly instructions to maintain quality standards.
  • Test and package valves with proper labels and materials.
  • Complete production records and quality control documents.
  • Continuously assemble valves and sub-parts.
  • Maintain housekeeping to meet safety and environmental standards.
  • Report quality or safety concerns immediately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Production Supervisor or management.

Scope of Position

This reliable, self-starting individual, as part of the operations team, will be responsible for assembling and testing valves and / or valve components using assembly machinery or jigs and fixtures.

This position reports to the Production Supervisor, is onsite, and is based in Franklin, NH.

Second Shift Hours: 2:30pm-11pm (with overtime as per business needs)

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Follow prescribed A.T.I.’s (Assemble test instructions) in order to maintain excellent quality standards.
  • Test and/or package valves and components in individual boxes and into master cartons, marking same with the proper identification labels and instructional materials.
  • Completion of recaps, production records, and quality control documents.
  • Continuous repetitive assembling of valves and/or sub parts.
  • Perform routine housekeeping to ensure area operates within parameters that conform to environmental and safety standards.
  • Report any quality or safety concerns immediately.
  • Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Production Supervisor or Company management.

  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

Working Conditions:

While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility. You will be required to work at the Company’s Franklin location in Franklin, NH. Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.

Physical Requirements

Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor.
  • Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
