Equus Workforce Solutions in San Marcos, TX is seeking a maintenance assistant to perform minor repairs, painting, and general upkeep to support program operations. The role involves reporting unsafe conditions, completing paperwork, and maintaining a safe, clean center environment.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in maintenance and a valid driver’s license. Experience with youth is preferred, and on-call overtime may be required to ensure continuous center operations.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of maintenance experience is required.
• Experience working with youth is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record is required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform minor repairs and routine maintenance as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor (patching holes, painting, repairs, small appliances).
• Report unsafe conditions to management.
• Complete paperwork accurately as instructed by the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor.
• Perform work using safety equipment and follow safety rules and procedures.
• Assist in providing on-the-job training for employees.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner and deliver quality work.
• Plan and organize assignments to meet goals and deadlines.
• Support facility inspections and pest control as required.
• May assist with center vehicle repairs and housekeeping duties as assigned.
