Qualifications

Maintenance Technician

Location: Avon, OH

DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE

Nesco Resource is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled industrial maintenance professional with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Dismantle machinery to inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
• Replace worn or damaged mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components.
• Install and repair power supply wiring, conduit, motors, transformers, sensors, relays, switches, and other electrical equipment.
• Install, repair, and modify hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including piping.
• Perform machine alignments and adjustments on spindles, clutches, and other critical components.
• Install and connect new manufacturing equipment, including robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and work closely with production, maintenance, engineering, and tool room personnel to minimize downtime.
• Assist with equipment modifications and continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain a safe work environment while following all company safety procedures.

Qualifications

• In process to earning a Journeyman Maintenance certification (State or Federally approved apprenticeship) OR a minimum of 8 years of related industrial maintenance experience.
• PLC-controlled equipment experience
• Allen Bradley, Siemens, Ladder Logic and Fanuc
• Automation, Robotics and conveyor systems
• Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical alignment and machine installation
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.
• Must provide your own tools.
• Technical school education is a plus
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass a preemployment screening

Pay

$38.00/hour plus $1 shift differential

Shifts Available

• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Overtime as needed
