Job summary

Nesco Resource in Lawrenceburg, KY is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for an onsite, full-time role. You will keep production equipment and facility systems running safely and efficiently through mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, emergency and scheduled repairs, PLCs and VFDs troubleshooting, reading manuals, and basic machinist duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and industrial maintenance skills.
• Hydraulic troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Some experience with PLCs and VFDs.
• Ability to read equipment manuals and work orders.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and safety-minded.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery and facility equipment.
• Perform emergency and scheduled repairs to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair components, test equipment, and adjust as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Perform basic machinist duties as needed.
• Work with PLCs and VFDs to troubleshoot equipment.
• Use hand tools, power tools, electrical meters, and material-handling equipment.
• Perform basic plumbing, carpentry, and general facility maintenance.
• Identify faulty equipment or unusual operating conditions and report issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other maintenance duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and industrial maintenance skills
• Hydraulic troubleshooting and repair experience
• Some experience working with PLCs and VFDs
• Ability to read equipment manuals and work orders
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivated, dependable, and safety-minded
• Ability to work 2nd shift and weekends
• Willingness to participate in training as needed
• Electrical Journeyman's License preferred, but not required
