Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or vocational training a plus.
• Proven experience in property or building maintenance, preferably residential or multi-family housing.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail; good communication and time management.
• Flexibility to work on-call shifts, weekends, or after-hours emergencies when needed.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join ourproperty management team. This role is responsible for the upkeep, repair, andgeneral maintenance of facilities, ensuring a safe, functional, andvisually appealing environment for residents and guests.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performroutine inspections and preventative maintenance of commonareas, mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical components.
• Respondpromptly to maintenance requests and emergencies from residentsor property management.
• Completerepairs involving carpentry, drywall, painting, minor appliance servicing,and basic plumbing/electrical work.
• Maintaincleanliness and order in shared spaces such as lobbies, hallways, fitnesscenters, and pool areas.
• Collaboratewith contractors and vendors when specialized repairs or inspections arerequired.
• Ensureall work is performed in compliance with safety codes, buildingregulations, and company policies.
• Keepaccurate records of maintenance tasks, repairs, inventory, andwork orders.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Qualifications:

• High schooldiploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training is aplus.
• Provenexperience in property or building maintenance, preferably in aresidential or multi-family housing setting.
• Workingknowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to readblueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• Strongproblem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellentcommunication and customer service skills.
• Ability to workindependently and manage time effectively.
• Flexibility towork on-call shifts, weekends, or respond to after-hours emergencies whenneeded.

EDUCATION

High School graduate or equivalent required.

EXPERIENCE/ LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES

2+ years’ experience in similar role preferred.
