Job summary

The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, a AAA Four Diamond resort, seeks a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Whitefish, MT. This full-time role focuses on upkeep, repairs, and general maintenance to ensure a safe, functional, and inviting environment for residents and guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or vocational training a plus.
• Proven experience in property or building maintenance, preferably residential or multi-family housing.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail; good communication and time management.
• Flexibility to work on-call shifts, weekends, or after-hours emergencies when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance of common areas and systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies from residents or management.
• Complete repairs involving carpentry, drywall, painting, and basic plumbing/electrical work.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in shared spaces such as lobbies and pools.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or inspections.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and company policies.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance tasks, repairs, and work orders.
