The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, one of Montana's AAA Four Diamond resorts, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our HOA Maintenance Team at $27 - $30 Hourly DOE. We need a hands-on Maintenance Technician for HOA Areas on our property. All employeesreceive perks of $50 rooms at any of our properties, and discount rates at ourspa, restaurant, and retail.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE:
Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance activities as directed and instructed by the Director of Engineering at the Lodge, Viking, and Condoproperties.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilities Maintenance: Maintain in good workingorder and condition all areas of hotel utilities and basic functions(i.e.) electrical, plumbing, telephone, HVAC, audio systems, outdoorirrigation, elevators, alarm systems, pool systems, and all Guest Roomamenities requiring maintenance.
- Work Order Protocol: Monitor the scope of work and pace of completion of tasks that come through the Work Order System.Timely completion is desirable, but discretion is important as to the management of time and resources. Adherence to the procedure and diligenceregarding the system key functions.
- Attendance: Full-time position requiring regular,reliable, and punctual attendance.
- Work Environment: Most work will be performed withinthe greater Lodge property holdings. The Maintenance shop and themechanical rooms throughout the property will require the most attention.
- Occasional tasks related to ordering and purchasingwill require offsite meetings and trips. Lodge vehicles will be provided.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
- Perform routine dutiesindependently.
- Follow directions andinstructions as set forth by Shop Supervisor and work in accordance with established and general policies and procedures.
- Perform routine inspectionsand preventative maintenance of common areas, mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical components.
- Respond promptly tomaintenance requests and emergencies from residents or propertymanagement.
- Complete repairs involvingcarpentry, drywall, painting, minor appliance servicing, and basic plumbing/electrical work.
- Maintain cleanliness andorder in shared spaces such as lobbies, hallways, fitness centers, and pool areas.
- Collaborate with contractorsand vendors when specialized repairs or inspections are required.
- Sound judgment, thoroughness,and competence.
- Work effectively andproductively with others and interface with all departments requiringmaintenance functions.
- Full knowledge of importanceof work performance and the serious impact that failure to performeffectively may have on hotel operations, interdepartmental relations, andthe efficient use of resources.
- Ensure all work is performedin compliance with safety codes, building regulations, and companypolicies.
- Keep accurate records ofmaintenance tasks, repairs, inventory, and work orders.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
EDUCATION
High School graduate or equivalent required.
