Primient is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Wet Mill in Lafayette. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, mechanical repairs, and equipment reliability to support safe, high-quality production.

You will use CMMS to manage work orders, interface with I&E and production teams, and contribute to downtime reduction. Strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork are essential for success at Primient.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; pre-employment screening required.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to read diagrams and manuals.
• Experience with plant maintenance and reliability practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned wet mill equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Repair gearboxes, pumps, valves, and related process equipment.
• Review work orders in CMMS and document parts and labor.
• Collaborate with process engineers, technicians, and quality control.
