Job summary

Building Composites LLC in Moraine, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our FRP equipment running and to perform welding and fabrication for repairs and upgrades. The role requires hands-on work, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with operations and engineering teams.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of welding/fabrication experience, be proficient in MIG and Stick welding, and willing to learn forklift/hoist operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of welding and fabrication experience in manufacturing.
• Proficient in MIG and Stick welding; TIG a plus.
• Ability to read/interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
• Willingness to learn forklift/hoist operation; focus on safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems.
• Weld on equipment, structural components and facility infrastructure.
• Fabricate/modify metal parts using shop tools and blueprints.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Inspect equipment regularly and implement corrective actions.
• Document maintenance activities and repairs accurately.
• Collaborate with team to support production goals.
• Assist with installation, commissioning and testing of new equipment.
