Job summary

Building Composites in Moraine, OH, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our FRP manufacturing equipment running smoothly. The role involves hands-on welding and fabricating components for repairs, plus electrical, HVAC, and blueprint-reading tasks.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, inspect facilities, document maintenance activities, and collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime. Strong safety focus required.

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance or similar role in manufacturing.
• Experience with MIG and Stick welding; TIG is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication specifications.
• Strong problem-solving and safety awareness.
• Team-oriented with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Weld on equipment and structural components for repairs.
• Fabricate and modify metal parts per blueprints.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
