Qualifications

• Welding certificate required.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and work orders.
• 1–2 years of field welding experience (stick and MIG).
• Able to read production schedules and determine fabrication methods.
• Trained in lockout tagout and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair on buildings, equipment and facilities.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Conduct welding and metal fabrication using stick and MIG processes as needed.
• Repair structural components, frames and equipment with quality MIG welding.
• Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications and track results.
• Document all work for entry into the maintenance program.
