Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the safe and reliable operation of equipment within a fast-paced distribution and warehouse environment in Dallas, TX.

This role maintains and repairs rolling stock, machinery, material-handling equipment, conveyors, and related warehouse systems, with a strong focus on safety.

The position is safety-sensitive, full-time, and pays $30/hr; pre-employment screening is required.

Qualifications

• Warehouse/distribution maintenance experience required.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment.
• Forklift maintenance experience strongly preferred.
• Experience working with conveyor systems or similar automated equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assessing equipment issues, identifying corrective action, and completing repairs.
• Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing forklifts and material-handling equipment.
• Maintaining and repairing pick carousels, conveyor systems, and related warehouse equipment.
• Performing preventative maintenance to support equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Assisting with general facility maintenance and upkeep.
• Communicating professionally with management, employees, vendors, and other contacts.
• Maintaining safety procedures and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Providing guidance to junior maintenance technicians when requested.
