Qualifications

• Two years of experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC and appliance repair.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.
• On-call emergency rotation participation is required.
• Strong customer service with a resident-first mindset.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and repairs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
• Maintain exterior areas and assist with seasonal prep such as snow removal.
• Conduct daily property walks to ensure safety, cleanliness and curb appeal.
• Respond promptly to routine and emergency maintenance requests.

Are you a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in keeping a property in great shape? We're looking for a Maintenance Technician to join the team at Vista Verde, a 252-unit affordable and workforce housing community in Breckenridge, CO. From completing repairs and responding to service requests to helping maintain the property's overall condition, you'll play an important role in ensuring residents have a safe, comfortable place to call home!

What You'll Do

• Complete daily maintenance and repairs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
• Maintain exterior of the property along with tackling seasonal prep such as fall cleanup or snow removal.
• Perform daily property walks to keep everything clean, safe, and looking sharp.
• Respond promptly to routine and emergency maintenance requests when assigned.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents using make-ready checklists.
• Inspect buildings and grounds to maintain safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal.
• Maintain common areas, exterior spaces, and grounds.
• Communicate with vendors and contractors.

What You'll Bring

• Minimum of two years of previous experience in property management maintenance, building maintenance, or related trade.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC, and appliance repair.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet insurability requirements.
• Ability to participate in the on-call emergency rotation schedule.
• Strong customer service skills with a resident-first mindset.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC-EPA (Type II), or EPA Universal preferred.
