Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support reliability and safety of production equipment in a Columbus, GA manufacturing environment. This role covers day-to-day maintenance, preventive and predictive tasks, and involvement in capital projects across first and second shifts on a 2-2-3 rotation.

The position is contract-to-hire, onsite, with a pay range of $34.00–$38.00 per hour. Candidates should have strong mechanical/electrical knowledge and hands-on troubleshooting experience in

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in maintenance engineering in manufacturing environments.
• Proficient with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve asset reliability.
• Support capital equipment projects with technical input on installation and integration.
• Diagnose and repair using electrical/mechanical test methods and instrumentation.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and manuals to identify faults.
• Conduct PLC troubleshooting affecting production processes.
• Use CMMS to document work orders and plan maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve processes.
• Ensure maintenance complies with safety and quality standards.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities in equipment performance.
