Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to maintain and repair production equipment, ensuring safe and efficient plant operations. The role covers preventative and emergency maintenance across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as PLC ladder logic interpretation.

Responsibilities include installing controls, documenting activities, and working across shifts to support operations.

Qualifications

• 5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems.
• Read and interpret electrical block diagrams, schematics, and PLC ladder logic.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, electrical testing equipment, and computers.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Willingness to pass pre-employment assessments and drug screen.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work all shifts, including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production equipment to support continuous plant operations.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs as needed to minimize downtime.
• Read gauges, diagrams, and PLC ladder logic to diagnose issues.
• Install wiring and control components for equipment and conveyors.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain records.
• Ensure safety compliance and PPE use at all times.
