Crown Cork & Seal USA, Inc. in Olympia, WA is seeking a Maintainer Trainee to set up, adjust, repair, and overhaul production equipment on a 12‑hour shift. You will perform preventive maintenance, checks, and safety tasks, while maintaining production quality and records.

Starting wage is $38.64/hr, progressing to $40.21/hr after completing the 6,000‑hour training. Union membership applies after 30 days; comprehensive benefits are provided under the Crown plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Must pass the Munsell Color test.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, repair, overhaul and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Disassemble, inspect and maintain machinery as required.
• Measure and record can dimensions against specifications.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and maintain safety records.
