Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Maintainer to set up, adjust, repair, and overhaul can line equipment, ensuring safety and consistent production quality. The role includes extensive on-the-job training and mechanolithic work in a manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will join a team dedicated to sustainability and quality, with a starting wage of $33.03 per hour and shift differentials for second and third shifts. Training through an 8,000-hour program is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift between 10 lbs. - 50 lbs.
• Stand at workstation for duration of scheduled shift, which may exceed 8 hours per day.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Ability to work all assigned work schedules and comply with time and attendance policies.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Must have verifiable mechanical, technical aptitude and experience.
• Must pass Ramsay Mechanical Aptitude Test.
• Must pass Minimizer Test.
• Must read and utilize micrometers, vernier calipers.
• Must be motivated to participate in SPC projects and functions.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, repair, overhaul and perform preventive maintenance on can line equipment.
• Ensure safe mechanical performance and production output.
• Disassemble, replace, reassemble, inspect and maintain machinery.
• Measure and record can dimensions and maintain production and quality records.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs on production equipment.
• Ensure safety of all duties and areas.
• Complete an 8,000-hour training program to be fully qualified as a Maintainer.
