Job summary

Shasta Beverages, Inc. in Tukwila, WA, seeks a skilled maintenance technician to repair and maintain all production and facility equipment, install new equipment, and uphold preventative maintenance programs.

The ideal candidate will be a full journeyman in machine repair or plant mechanic, proficient in reading mechanical/electrical prints, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics, and able to work 12-hour shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; technical college preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in related field with beverage experience a plus.
• Ability to read schematics.
• Computer literacy with Excel and Word; MP2 software and PLC experience a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and English communication; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform changeovers, answer line calls, and troubleshoot.
• Apply basic electrical skills.
• Repair and maintain high speed production equipment.
• Practice safe work habits and follow lock out tag out procedures; complete OSHA training.
• Respond to line supervisor calls to repair equipment.
• Schedule preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Participate in daily meetings and report maintenance objectives.
