The Abbey at Briar Forest, managed by Abbey Residential Services, Inc., seeks a high-energy Maintenance Technician to join our apartment community in Houston, TX. This full-time, hourly role focuses on HVAC troubleshooting, appliance maintenance, and preventive upkeep to ensure excellent resident service.

You will work in a collaborative team, participate in rotating on-call after hours, and grow with a company that values excellence and internal promotion.

Qualifications

• HVAC Certification is required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• 1–2 years of apartment maintenance experience or related field work.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems in apartment homes.
• Installing and maintaining appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, washers/dryers.
• Performing preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
• Handling light plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Painting, caulking, lock changes, and general interior/exterior upkeep.
• Working as part of a high-performing maintenance team.
• Participating in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies.
