Job summary

Abbey Residential is hiring a Make Ready Technician in Tomball, TX to prepare apartments for move-in and keep spaces in top condition. You will assist with appliances, fixtures, painting, and general maintenance to ensure units meet high standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in multifamily maintenance, a positive attitude, and willingness to participate in on-call rotations. Benefits include medical/dental, 401(k) with match, holidays, and ongoing training.

• Minimum 1 year of multifamily maintenance or make-ready experience.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• High energy and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Detail-oriented and organized with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with moving and replacing appliances.
• Inspect, repair, or replace faucets, sinks, bathtubs, tiles, and plugs.
• Perform light painting, drywall patching, and caulking.
• Replace or repair ceiling fans, blinds, light fixtures, and more.
• Change HVAC filters and report issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Clean carpets using commercial equipment.
• Assist with apartment trash-outs and property grounds upkeep.
• Support the team with after-hours on-call maintenance (required rotation).

What You’ll Be Doing:

Assist with moving and replacing appliances
