Abbey Residential is hiring a Make Ready Technician at The Abbey at Energy Corridor in Houston. This full-time role supports apartment readiness by moving appliances, inspecting and repairing fixtures, painting, and handling on-call maintenance rotations.

You’ll join a responsive maintenance team, require at least 1 year of multifamily experience, prefer HVAC certification, and commit to weekends and on-call coverage. We offer medical, dental, a 401(k) with match, holidays and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of multifamily maintenance or make-ready experience.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• High energy and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Detail-oriented and organized with strong time management skills.
• Professional appearance and excellent service skills.
• Willing to work weekends and participate in the on-call rotation.

Responsabilités

• Assist with moving and replacing appliances.
• Inspect, repair, or replace faucets, sinks, bathtubs, tiles, and plugs.
• Perform light painting, drywall patching, and caulking.
• Replace or repair ceiling fans, blinds, light fixtures, and more.
• Change HVAC filters and report issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Clean carpets using commercial equipment.
• Assist with apartment trash-outs and property grounds upkeep.
• Support the team with after-hours on-call maintenance (required rotation).
