The role includes on‑call rotations for evenings and weekends, coordination with the supervisor, and maintaining curb appeal. A high school diploma and 1–2 years of maintenance experience are required; HVAC certification is preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of maintenance experience or experience in a related field required.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, appliance repair, and general building maintenance required.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record required.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic English proficiency and the ability to communicate effectively with residents, coworkers, vendors, and the general public.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with residents, employees, vendors, and visitors.

Responsabilidades

• Perform interior and exterior repairs and maintenance to apartments, common areas, buildings, and grounds.
• Complete service requests and prepare vacant apartments for move‑in according to established procedures and timelines.
• Communicate regularly with the supervisor regarding service requests, apartment make‑readies, and ongoing maintenance needs.
• Inspect work completed by outside contractors to ensure quality and compliance with established standards.
• Perform exterior maintenance and inspections to maintain the property's appearance and curb appeal.
• Regularly inspect common areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of equipment and facilities.
• Follow applicable federal, state, and local health and safety codes, laws, and standards.
• Assist with resident functions and other property needs as requested by management.
• Participate in the on‑call rotation to respond to emergency maintenance needs during evenings and weekends.
